Farm Connections Open House
April 3, 2021
Durham Region residents are invited to attend the Farm Connections Open House on April 3, 2019, 4:30pm to 8:00pm at the Luther Vipond Memorial Arena in Brooklin!
This annual interactive event provides attendees with an opportunity to learn about agriculture through various stations, including meeting with farmers and livestock; as well as learning about dairy, beef, pork, poultry, sheep, land stewardship, vegetables, apples and crops.
Bring the whole family and learn about agriculture in Durham Region. Meet local farmers and their animals, learn about how crops are grown and where your food comes from. Meet a Large Animal Veterinarian.
Live demonstrations of sheep shearing, cow milking, and cheese making will take place every 15 minutes throughout the evening.Admission is free but donations non-perishable food item will be gratefully accepted on behalf of the local food bank

Those in the agriculture community are invited to come out and enjoy delicious food, entertainment, a silent and live auction and a chance to connect with friends in the community. The seventh annual Durham Farm Connections Celebrate Agriculture Gala will benefit agricultural awareness efforts in Durham Region.
